Our Float keyring has been made using retired fishing gear from Newlyn, incorporating a yellow float we stripped from retired fishing gear we help to salvage from Newlyn Harbour. A spliced loop has been made at one end to attach a split ring, and then a lobster clasp clip has been added to the split ring to enable you to attach your keyring onto something if desired.
Our Float keyrings are proving to be very popular, just the right size to carry in your coat pocket when you’re out and about, whilst easy to find in your bag. If, like us, you’re always losing your keys, this float should make searching for them a little easier. Some bags have loops inside the main pocket especially for this purpose – so the lobster clasp is proving handy!
For those who love Cornwall, now you can carry a little bit with you, whilst helping to prevent discarded fishing and ghost gear from going to landfill or incineration.
