Description
Cornish Sprat Bottle Opener Keyrings come in a variety of colours of opener: silver, blue, red, purple and gold. They are made from an assortment of ghost gear that we pick up on our beach cleans around Cornwall.
The big Spring tides and high winds dump seaweed and ghost gear all along the high tide line.
Determined to use every little bit of rope that we can, to save it going to landfill or incineration, our Sprat Bottle Opener Keyrings not only help us to achieve this, but are a lovely way for people to have a little bit of Cornwall.
They are all so proving popular as end of year teacher gifts and coach gifts.
Each and every one is individual, often incorporating finds from beach cleans or rescued salvage missions at sea. From beads to spinners cleaned off long line ghost gear that was rescued 125 miles off Lands End by the “Stelissa” in Newlyn, through to Zennor Cove and Prussia Cove rope, each keyring has its own story to tell.
If you have a colour in mind just leave us a message with your order and we will sort a combination for you. If no message is left a pot luck will be sent out. A lobster clasp clip can also be added if required, making it handy to clip onto your bags whilst out on your adventures.
