Description
This Float Keyring has been made using retired sky blue fishing rope from St Ives, and incorporates a white soft float that has been kindly donated on our “Swopsie” with The Mermaid Basket in Porthtowan.
A spliced loop has been made at one end to attach a split ring, and then a lobster clasp clip has been added to the split ring to enable you to attach your keyring onto something if desired.
Our Float Keyrings are proving to be very popular, just the right size to carry in your coat pocket when you’re out and about, whilst easy to find in your bag. If, like us, you’re always losing your keys, this float should make searching for them a little easier. Some bags have loops inside the main pocket especially for this purpose – so the lobster clasp is proving handy!
For those who love Cornwall, now you can carry a little bit with you, whilst helping to prevent discarded fishing and ghost gear from going to landfill/incineration/re-entering the sea.
