Determined to use every little bit of rope that we can, to save it going to landfill or incineration, our ‘Sprat’ keyrings not only help us to achieve this, but are a lovely way for people to have a little bit of Cornwall.
Each and every Sprat is individual, often incorporating finds from our beach cleans. From beads to spinners, Zennor Cove rope to Prussia Cove, each Sprat has its own story to tell.
These beautiful ‘Sprat’ keyrings have been made from ghost gear picked up on our cove hugs and Quay cleans at Newlyn.
If you have a particular colour of twine you like please leave us a message when you order as our Newlyn ‘Sprat’ keyrings will be sent out randomly when ordered at the moment. To make each unique, in some we have also added swivels and plastics that were removed from the ghost gear that was recovered by the ‘Stelissa’ 125 miles off Lands End.
Together we can help save ghost gear from ending up at landfill/incineration and give it all a new lease of life.
