St Ives Sprat Keyrings are made from ghost gear we have picked up from St Ives harbour, in Cornwall, on our beach cleans.
This beautiful Green Sprat Keyring is repurposed from our finds in St Ives harbour whilst on a beach clean. We don’t find much in the way of twine and rope in the harbour, so if St Ives is a favourite spot for you, be quick this keyring will soon find its forever home.
Determined to use every little bit of rope that we can, to save it going to landfill or incineration, our Sprat keyrings not only help us to achieve this, but are a lovely way for people to have a little bit of Cornwall in their pocket.
Each and every Sprat is individual, often incorporating finds from our beach cleans. From beads to spinners cleaned off long line ghost gear rescued 125 miles off Lands End by the “Stelissa” from Newlyn, through to Zennor Cove rope and Prussia Cove, each Sprat has its own story to tell.
