This one has been made from a soft dark grey float (spongey to the touch, rather than hard) that was sent to us from #AdventurerFriends in Scotland with a challenge to repurpose, added to a dark bluey/grey rope from Grandad’s retired fishing gear used in St Ives harbour before it safely hibernated in his fishing loft for 40+ years. We’ve added a splice at the bottom to form a handle from the float and a smaller spliced loop at the top to affix whatever it is you’d like to pull!
Measuring approx 120cm this pull saves rope and a float from going to landfill, incineration or re-entering our sea, whilst bringing a little bit of Cornwall (and Scotland!) to its forever home.
