We’re in the running for a Cornwall Sustainability Award!
This time tomorrow we’ll be at Truro Cathedral, meeting amazing businesses all fighting the battle to make Cornwall more sustainable.
This is a huge HUGE deal for us. Not just because we’re proud to be making our little bit of a difference to the #rePURPOSEDinCORNWALL community – but also because of how far our adventure has taken us in little over a year.
As you’ll all know, Cornish Spliced was the idea of Beth who was just 14 at the time, supported by “grandad” who was meant to be retired. Starting a new venture for anyone is huge and scary, but at Beth’s young age and grandad’s 76 years of wisdom(!) it is flippin’ amazing. We’re so proud of the way they’ve dealt with the challenges they’ve had to face.
Cornish Spliced came along at a time when our family very much needed it. Recent years have been hard for us all to say the least. But Cornish Spliced has brought us together, and the love and support from so many people who have asked after dad and encouraged Beth has been overwhelming.
So tonight is a huge win for us, whatever the outcome of the award. And that’s thanks to all of you – who we are proud to consider a member of our Cornish Spliced family. THANK YOU.
